Adventure through Ireland on a six-night stay throughout the country with stops in Dublin, Malahide, Athlone and Clare. Unique to Embry-Riddle, the trip will include an exclusive tour of Foynes Flying Boat Museum to learn about the role that Foynes' played in early passenger flights across the Atlantic Ocean and the legendary flying boats that carried celebrities and royalty.

The cost of this trip is $2,400 per person ($4,800 total) for those traveling in pairs (double-occupancy rooms) and $2,840 per person for individual travelers.

Your fee includes:

• 6 night accommodation in four-star hotels
• Touring with a friendly local driver and guide
• Daily Irish breakfast
• A day at an Irish university meeting current Embry-Riddle students and faculty participating in the study abroad program
• A whiskey chat and visit to Ireland's oldest pub, Sean's Bar
• Visit and admission to: Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, Foynes Flying Boat Museum, Guinness Storehouse

Payment is required in full during registration. The fee does not include travel to and from Dublin from your place of origin. Travelers will need to arrange for flights to Dublin, arriving Sunday, July 7, and departing, Saturday, July 13. This trip is for adults age 21 or older.

Once you have completed registration, Embry-Riddle will be in contact with alumni travelers.

We're excited to see alumni, students, friends, and industry partners at the annual Embry-Riddle event hosted during EAA AirVenture 2024. Special thanks to our industry partners at Concorde Battery for continuing to host this memorable event that everyone looks forward to year after year.

Expect to have a great evening of networking and catching up while enjoying a delicious meal including hamburgers, hot dogs, a vegetarian option and all the fixings! Beer, soda and water will be included. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the PHP Tents.

New this year: Request your favorite songs for the chance to hear them throughout the BBQ (password is embryriddle).

We've scheduled this event to coincide with the night time air show and fireworks, so feel free to stay and relax with fellow Eagles and enjoy the show. This event is free and open to alumni, current students, parents, family, and friends.

Note: Registration for this event does not include AirVenture admission. If you are unable to make it to the BBQ, be sure to stop by and catch up with the Alumni Engagement team and your fellow Eagles at the Embry-Riddle booth (#49). 

All Embry-Riddle alumni and industry partners attending the Farnborough Airshow are invited to visit with us. Stop by the Embry-Riddle booth, 3111E from Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26 and chat with fellow Eagles and University representatives.

Monday, July 22: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday, July 23 - Friday, July 26: 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Join Wichita and surrounding alumni in an afternoon of community service benefiting local aviation gem, the Kansas Aviation Museum on Saturday, July 27 from 12-4 p.m.

Alumni and their families (including children 12 years and older) are invited to help spruce up the museum with a variety of potential activities including historic aircraft fleet restorations. Due to the expected heat (Wichita in July…), we will be working an indoor activity to ensure everyone stays cool.

Come meet, and network with fellow Eagles, and support a great local aviation treasure. The event will kick off with a tour for volunteers. No matter rain or shine, we will find a project to be done. 

All alumni, faculty, staff, and current students in the area are welcome to attend.
