Jones said: “I can fondly remember visiting flight decks at an early age and the absolute joy that brought, those memories undoubtedly set in motion a series of events which have led me to where I am today. The passion I still have for aviation started long before I took my first flight lesson and having pilots who looked like me played a vital role in me achieving my goal of becoming a commercial airline pilot. Spirit has afforded me an opportunity to serve in various leadership roles and I take immense pride in being a mentor. Through various initiatives, I serve as an example to future aviators that the goal is attainable no matter what type of adversity they may encounter. ‘Representation Matters. If you can see it, you can dream it and more importantly achieve it.'"
